Natalie Labo (previously known as Natalie Joly) is a multifaceted artist, songwriter, producer, and storyteller originally from Boston, Massachusetts, now calling Nashville, Tennessee home. Her creative world blends nostalgic rock roots with heartfelt storytelling and a modern edge, shaped by influences like The Beatles, Aerosmith, Matchbox Twenty, and Taylor Swift. This fusion creates music that feels both timeless and timely—raw, gritty, and unapologetically authentic.
Music has always been the heartbeat of her life. Raised in a home where songs filled the air, Natalie was encouraged to start writing music at a young age. Her father helped her and her brother piece together their first home studio, igniting a lifelong passion for writing, recording, and producing music. A true multi-instrumentalist, she plays guitar, piano, and bass, as well as singing—staying deeply involved in every stage of creation from the first spark of an idea to the final mix.
She began writing songs at eight years old and releasing music at fifteen. Over the years, she’s poured her heart into her craft, releasing lots of original music, earning Song of the Year at the New England Music Awards for her 2018 breakout hit “You Oughta Know,” landing tracks on Nashville’s Radio Sobro, performing the national anthem at TD Garden in Boston, and being featured in publications like InBoston and Nashville Voyager. With more than 1,000 live performances under her belt, Natalie has built a reputation as a dynamic, authentic performer whose shows blend original songs with crowd favorites in unforgettable ways.
Natalie became a mother in 2025 which was a profound turning point in her life. After giving birth to her daughter, Stevie Lou Labo, Natalie chose to embrace the name Natalie Labo so her name would match her daughter and husband—a meaningful reflection of her new family identity. As a chronically creative soul who has never been defined by just one medium, she is now expanding her creative world beyond music into new forms of storytelling and expression. This transition phase is rooted in strength, authenticity, and the deeper perspective that motherhood has brought, allowing her to build on nearly two decades of musical experience with renewed purpose and passion.
