Every song I release is special to me in its own way, especially since I only get to release a very small portion of the songs I write. Some songs I choose to release because I love the music, others because I love the meaning of the lyrics, others just because.

This song kind of hits all 3… the meaning being first and foremost, but I’m also so proud of how the music turned out… and lastly, just because. Because for whatever reason, this song hits me in the feels. I wrote it just a few weeks before I was headed into the studio and I threw it into this project without even having a demo for it yet, I just knew it was going to be a special one. I wrote this song after watching a friend go through a toxic relationship, and having it bring back all sorts of emotions about my own past. This song is to tell women you are allowed to ask for help out of an unhealthy situation. Even when it feels like you're all alone, you're not - they just want you to feel that way.

This song is a new direction for me musically and I'm so excited to see where it leads. I hope you love it as much as I do!
